~Mary Breaux Wright, International President, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Blue Linkz - Blue Camp

In keeping with the sorority’s commitment to continuous embellishment activities, Chi Pi Zeta Chapter established Blue Linkz to facilitate Zeta Blue Camp.  Each month, a different link facilitates embellishment activities.  Each link is composed of a mixture of seasoned sorors, young sorors and new sorors.  Leadership responsibility for each group rotates among group members. We use a variety of delivery formats including lecture, interactive activities and games.  Each month, at conclusion of Blue Camp we celebrate sorors with birthdays during the month.  The purpose of Blue Linkz is to: Strengthen the sisterly bond between chapter members, foster the growth and development of aspiring leaders, foster self-examination of individual strengths and weaknesses, foster the development of change agents within the chapter, promote responsibility and accountability amongst members, promote direction, purpose and guidance (mentorship), foster true commitment to the chapter and the sorority as a whole, foster teamwork and, promote a system for consistent embellishment of all members; new and old.
